Lakes community a winner

Varsity Lakes’ Azzura Eco residential community offers an affordable green lifestyle. The $25 million project by Trilink Developments was ruiner up at the 2010 Urban Taskforce Australia Development Excellence Awards.

Azzura Eco’s contemporary tri-level “eco home” offers stylish and relaxed living with features including parking for four vehicles and energy saving features. There are three floorplans to choose from which offer open-plan living areas, a patio off the dining area and a spacious deck.

A number of floorplans feature north-east water views from the living areas, while others open to the neighboring nature reserve. Reconstituted stone benchtops and brushed metal handles feature in the kitchen, as well as stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, Ariston oven and electric cook top. On the top level are two bedrooms, the main with walkin wardrobe and ensuite. Ther is also a second bathroom and toilet in the home. The eco homes boast modern amenities including television and data points in the main living areas. Residents also have access to the development’s pool and spa, barbecue facilities, surrounding gardens and walkways.

Trilink Group chief executive Kym Plotkin said the environmentally friendly project was an affordable option in comparison to other water facing properties on the Gold Coast. “Residents will love the serene setting and Azzurra Eco has the advantage of being in the middle of a booming area with all the conveniences Varsity Lakes has to offer.” he said. “You can live in comfort and stay connected to what will be the epicenter of Varsity Lakes and be conveniently positioned close to transport and highway access.”

Prices range from $450,000 for a two-bedroom plus study residence; $575,000 for a three level house, with a three bedroom plus study apartment priced from $550,000.
